Some Girl Scout Daisies came by to visit and donate supplies

What better way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon than visiting the Good Mews kitties? The smiles on the faces of these Girl Scout Daisies from Tritt Elementary in East Cobb say it all. Thanks for visiting and for bringing needed shelter supplies.

What better way to spend a rainy Sunday afternoon than visiting the Good Mews kitties? The smiles on the faces of these Girl Scout Daisies from Tritt Elementary in East Cobb say it all. Thanks for visiting and for bringing needed shelter supplies, girls! My friends the kitties were purrfectly delighted to have them visit.

Being a volunteer is also a very rewarding endeavor, whether you are maintaining the cleanliness of the shelter, working on a fundraising event, petting a cat, or helping with adoptions, you are very important to us.  Your volunteer efforts can have a huge impact on an animal who has never known love and friendship.  Sometimes the impact is immediate, other times it takes a while to see the impact, but in either case, the result is very gratifying and uplifting.

Our no-kill cage free shelter is always in need of supplies and volunteers. If you want to donate supplies, bring in a group to visit or volunteer or find a volunteer opportunity for yourself, visit www.goodmews.org or call 770-499-CATS (2287)
