Hi, I'm Mel Krupnick and I've been doing stories about organizations that I'm involved with for over 30 years. I grew up in Brooklyn and attended the famous New Utrecht High School, seen in the opening of Welcome Back Kotter and where several well know celebrities attended. I worked at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and enjoyed lunch in Central Park, also an IBM subsidiary and for several years, CARE USA, a charity which serves over 39 third world countries with food and job training, etc. I Moved with CARE to the Atlanta area in 1993 and retired in 2003. Currently I'm helping Good Mews Animal Foundation, an East Cobb cage-free no-kill shelter for cats and kittens and Congregation Ner Tamid Synagogue and Religious School in West Cobb to get the word out.

I also have a lovely wife, a daughter in Georgia with two children, one 4 yo boy and one 6 yo girl and a son in NY with twin almost 5 cildren, one boy and one girl. We enjoy our grandkids and watch them on occasion.

I hope you enjoy the articles I post.
