Cool Cats dressing up for dinner, dancing & auction Saturday

Don’t miss the Good Mews Animal Foundation’s Silver Anniversary this Saturday, 7-11pm, Atlanta Country Club, 500 Atlanta Country Club Dr., Marietta, GA 30067. 

A 3-course seated dinner and 2 drinks per person plus a silent/live auction, dancing, and live entertainment! Auction items include a Six Day African Safari, week-long stay at a beachfront condo in Isle of Palms, original artwork & jewelry from local artists, Tiffany & Co. merchandise, dining gift certificates, electronics, and much more! Pete the Cat has asked that you wear cocktail attire (black tie optional). Tickets to the gala are now available online; they are $110 if purchased in advance and will be $125 at the door.  50/50 Raffle Tickets are available for $10 in advance and the night of the Gala.  Winner will receive half of the total amount raised through raffle ticket sales (Good Mews keeps the other half).  Winner does not need to be present at the Gala to collect prize.

Located in Marietta, Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the metro-Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was the first no-kill, free-roam, feline-only shelter established in Georgia, housing approximately 100 cats at any given time, with an additional 30+ cats living in foster homes.  Since 1988, Good Mews has placed more than 6,500 cats in permanent homes.
