Adopt one of my Senior Cat Friends in November and Save

November is Adopt-a-Senior Pet month and Good Mews is offering senior cats free for seniors or $50 for non-senior adopters adoption fees thanks to grants from Doris Day and the Humane society.

November is Adopt-a-Senior Pet month

Visit Good Mews during the month of November for Adopt-A-Senior-Pet Month! Senior cats are often over-looked for one of their younger friends, but what most people don’t know is, senior cats can make wonderful companions! There are many benefits in sharing your life with an older pet, so please come visit our seniors and consider adopting one this month!

All of our senior cats either have a reduced adoption fee or their adoption fee is waived.
If a senior person adopts a senior cat, the adoption fee is waived, thanks to the Doris Day Animal Foundation grant.
If a non-senior adopts a senior cat, they have a reduced adoption fee of $50, thanks to the HSUS grant.

Located in East Cobb, Good Mews offers an alternative to traditional animal shelters in the metro-Atlanta area by providing a no-kill, cage-free haven for homeless, abused or abandoned cats until placing them in permanent, loving homes. Good Mews, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, was the first no-kill, free-roam, feline-only shelter established in Georgia, housing approximately 100 cats at any given time, with an additional 30+ cats living in foster homes.  Since 1988, Good Mews has placed more than 6,500 cats in permanent homes. The shelter receives no government support, relying instead on donations of time, service, supplies and money from supporters, the public and area businesses.  Good Mews is located at 736 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite A3, Marietta, GA 30068.  For more information and hours, visit www.goodmews.org or call 770-499-CATS (2287).
