Orangetheory Fitness Expands to East Cobb
The group exercise studio chain will be opening in Merchants Festival in November.
Orangetheory Fitness, which specializes in group interval training, will be opening a location in East Cobb next month.
The business will be located at 1401 Johnson Ferry Road, in the Merchants Festival Shopping Center. It will be one of the first Orangetheory Fitness locations in metro Atlanta, along with centers in Sandy Springs and northwest Atlanta.
According to a company release, the Orangetheory Fitness concept is predicated on an "intense heart rate-based workout [resulting] in the 'Orange Effect' " that includes a high metabolic increase and a calorie burn 36 hours after a workout.
The workout includes exercises on the treadmill, indoor rowing machines and with weight training blocks.
Three levels of non-contract, month-to-month memberships will be available, and they are priced according to the number of monthly visits.
Orangetheory Fitness has locations in Florida, the East Coast, Midwest, Rocky Mountain region, West Coast and Canada.
