The Cobb County Police Department sent underage volunteers to 10 establishments in East Cobb.
During a Cobb County Police Department alcohol compliance check, an East Cobb grocery store sold alcohol to an underage volunteer. The agency's Permit and Regulatory Services Unit last Thursday sent volunteers to 10 establishments across East Cobb, and the Aldi Foods at 2125 Roswell Rd. was the only one that failed the test, said Officer Mike Bowman, the police department's spokesman. Five passed the alcohol compliance check. While the four remaining locations passed, they were issued citations for unspecified permit violations.
