A Real East Cobb GOP Truther

The truth can appear at times when we least expect it.

JoEllen Smith is a bona-fide East Cobb Republican. She is a business woman and mom, involved in her children’s public education. Last year she ran in the GOP primary for the state house in East Cobb. She has been known to tell the truth. Lance Lamberton and a number of other anti-tax Republicans are given to saying outlandish things in The Marietta Daily Journal. They were against the Cobb Education SPLOST before the election. A aide to House leadership is quoted in the National Review article as saying that “Price is the person we’re all watching. We know he’s frustrated, but we don’t know much else.” The …

Romney Chooses Ryan for GOP TIcket

Can the Wisconsin Congressman help the Republicans win the White House? Vote in our poll, and tell us what you think.

Allright East Cobb Republicans -- and we know there are many of you out there -- Mitt Romney has chosen his running mate for the GOP ticket this fall.  Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, who was introduced by the presumptive Republican presidential nominee at a Norfolk, Va., rally on Saturday, has been a favorite of fiscal and social conservatives for his work on the House Budget Committee and his ardent pro-life views.  The selection of Ryan has come as a surprise to some political pundits, who are already assessing how he may help -- or not -- the Romney campaign.  Several prominent East Cobb Republicans have reacted positively to the Ryan selection. U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson said that Ryan "is a serious candidate who has clearly …
