RE/MAX Greater Atlanta was recently named one of Atlanta’s Top 25 Real Estate Companies. The annual list is compiled by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and was formally published in a March issue focusing on residential real estate in Atlanta. RE/MAX Greater Atlanta has approximately $90.5 million in gross residential sales in 2011. The office included 42 agents in 2011 (that number is increasing in 2012) and, with the 666 closings reported by the office, each agent averaged nearly 16 closings per person. The East Cobb no-kill cat shelter has begun construction on its new home on Robinson Road.
Good Mews won a $25,000 grant from Southwest Airlines last month and has begun work on its new no-kill shelter on Robinson Road near Roswell Road. The East Cobb cat shelter was one of six nonprofit winners in the LUV Grants for Good contest Southwest ran to celebrate its arrival in Atlanta. The airline, working with judges from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, narrowed 352 entrants to 15 finalists, and online voters chose two winners each among large, medium and small entrants.
