Traffic Advisory for Police Funeral Procession
UPDATED: A law enforcement motorcade will arrive at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church via Lower Roswell Road mid-Friday morning.
Updated, 8:30 a.m. Friday: A large motorcade of law enforcement vehicles will be traveling through East Cobb this morning, delaying traffic on several major roads. The motorcade will be departing Turner Field in downtown Atlanta, traveling north on Interstate 75 and exiting eastbound on Delk Road around 9:20 a.m., according to Cobb County Government. The motorcade will also impact nearby traffic on Terrell Mill Road as it travels eastbound on Lower Roswell Road, turning northbound on Woodlawn Road and into the parking lot at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church around 9:45 a.m. Delays of around 15 minutes are expected along the route.
