The Wine, Spirits & Beers of March

Celebrate St. Paddy's Day with Irish whiskey, Peru's Pisco Sour, BBQ, Beer & Bourbon, Naked Wines and more.

March is the month for that favorite party, the time we celebrate Saint Paddy who chased the snakes out of Ireland and converted the heathen. But March 2012 is a month of much more. There are craft beers to seriously contemplate, Pisco Sours to sip in honor of Peru, the High Museum of Art’s magnificent wine tastings and auction, orgasmically grown wines to try. It all starts this weekend with a fine fest celebrating beer, barbecue, babes,and bourbon although not necessarily in that order. On Saturday March 3, from noon-6 p.m., Daisy Duke and The Boots Girls will be dancing while you taste it, sip it and pork it, all to live music at Atlantic Station at the Atlanta Beer, Bourbon & BBQ Festival. Relaxing Bites at the Café de Paris

This popular Johnson Ferry Road establishment helps you escape the bustle of East Cobb.

The Café de Paris is a pleasant, relaxing find off the hustle and bustle of Johnson Ferry Road. Tucked away in the Woodlawn Commons Shopping Center, Café de Paris is attached to the European style home décor store C’est Moi. There is indoor and outdoor seating at this cafe, so I chose to sit outside since I had my dog Jasper with me. Service: The service was polite and fast. I was there for breakfast, and my meal came out about 10 minutes after I ordered. Once I had my meal, the staff didn't come back to my table to check on me, but it's a cafe so that's what I expected.
