The last fire at the Willows by the River condominium complex was on April 1.
Since December, there have been two fires at the Willows by the River condominium complex. Cobb County officials think it is time to do something about that. More than one month after the last fire on April 1, Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services announced Monday that it will hold a fire safety class for Willows residents at 7 p.m. May 20 at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, 4385 Lower Roswell Rd. During the 1½-hour class, which is not open to the public, Chief Sam Heaton and Fire Marshal Jay Westbrook will talk to Willows residents about ways to prevent fires. Related content
