Walton Students Honored at Capitol

State Rep. Matt Dollar (R-East Cobb) on Tuesday led the Georgia House of Representatives in recognizing the accomplishments of Charles Wang and Lisa Wang with House Resolutions 2019 and 2020. The two unrelated Walton High School seniors are the Georgia recipients of the Siemens Award for Advanced Placement, which awards scholarships to only two students in each state. “It is an honor to recognize the accomplishments of these outstanding students,” Dollar said. “I am extraordinarily proud to say that both Georgia winners of this prestigious award were educated in Cobb County.
