Why don't you put "Walton Grad" in the title of this article, the way "WheelerRead More Grad" was used for another criminal a week or two ago in the Patch?

If you change lanes in Cobb County without signaling which many people do since they never use theRead More optional equipment which came with their cars, directional signals, how does this lead to searching someone's purse to find illegal drugs? This story is does not seen to make sense the way it was written.

I've read it three times and for the life of me not only cannot make sense of the issues Bob broughtRead More up, but then this guy gets his whole house searched. Wow!! People take note, you better use your blinkers in Cobb!
Rodney Thrash (Editor) June 13, 2013 at 05:37 pm
I sent a version of this note to Bob, who emailed me. I reached out to the Cobb County Sheriff'sRead More Office and the Cobb County Police Department about the connection between the traffic stop and the search. While the Cobb County Sheriff's Office responded and directed me to the Cobb County Police Department, the latter agency did not respond to my inquiry. And they still have not responded to my inquiry. Because of that, I focused on the marijuana plants found in the home. I did not write that the traffic stop led to the search of the suspect's house because officials did not get back to me to connect the dots. The traffic stop is not brought up until the end of the story. And the only reason I included the information about the traffic stop was to explain to readers the latter two charges against the suspect.

Why did it take CCPD 2 months to release these pictures? How many additional crimes have theyRead More committed since then? Makes NO sense to me.
Thomas Matthew Hinkson June 5, 2013 at 03:00 am
Pretty sure I did community service with the guy with dred check GDC records to match the picture.

On one hand, I'm glad they have surveillance cameras in the hallways, but on the other hand, I don'tRead More think it's a good idea to "spy" on the residents like that.

there's just something comforting about the idea of a yearly family summer vacation ...I say this isRead More one time we should stay with the status quo ... .

Oh Boy! kids are out for summer, burglaries on the rise, abuse of animals, kids smoking dope,Read More getting into their parent's liquor cabinet, Boy I'll be glad when school starts back in August

Is it really fair to tie this person to Wheeler' High school in an article? Especially to put it inRead More the headlines. This is gross and poor journalism. Let's settle the score and write an article detailing all sex-offenders and murderers that have graduated from all East Cobb High schools in the past 10 years. What a dumb headline.
Rodney Thrash (Editor) May 17, 2013 at 12:54 pm
Not sure if you've been following the story, but it was Andrews' alleged pilfering of wallets whileRead More a student at Wheeler High School and text messages between friends about the thefts that reopened this case. He was arrested at Wheeler on the theft charges.
Dutch Weiner June 13, 2013 at 09:03 pm
The fact that the guy went to Wheeler is one thing that grabs the attention of East Cobbers,Read More especially those of us who graduated from Wheeler. Also, I doubt publishing the alma maters of all sex offenders and murders who attended East Cobb high schools in the last decade would do much to benefit Wheeler.
