4 Stars for the classy comment made by the new manager, Lauren Rhyne! I drive by this fitness center daily. I just claimed the offer from East Cobb Snobs through Facebook and look forward to plugging in here as I live my 100 Year Lifestyle and Get my ESS in Shape (endurance, strength and structure!). Good job LifeQuest! See you at 6am!!

Read the Yelp! Reviews! My girlfriend and I paid in advance for 1 1/2 years. Not even 5 months later, they discretely leave a piece of paper on the desk where you check in that says the club will be closed in 3 days!?! The manager did not even show up any of those days and the young guy at the desk said he was refusing to call anyone back. I cannot drive 20 miles to the Acworth location, that's $10 in fuel every time I want to go workout, not to mention it takes 30-40 minutes of driving. What a SCAM!!!
I had quit this gym because the previous manager was a jerk. He made the entire experience unpleasant. My wife told me to go back - I did, and the changes are dramatic. I would definitely suggest everyone give the gym a second look. If you left, come back. The people at the front desk are actually NICE!
If you left because of Frank, COME BACK! He is GONE! Sadly, one man made members of this gym MISERABLE - thankfully, the new owners are fantastic and brought in some excellent staff! Everyone is happy, helpful and so nice. The KidsZone is so much better, and the group fitness classes are always the best. The gym is finally getting what it deserves - people that actually care! The rates are the best in East Cobb - I would definitely recommend anyone come try LifeQuest - it's a great place!
This is Lauren Rhyne, LifeQuest Fitness' new General Manager as of March 13, 2012~ For everyone who had a negative experience with the previous "management," I'd like to invite you back to make it up to you~ I was a member prior to taking over, so I really do understand! I'd like to give each of you a complimentary membership for any inconveniences you had from the "reign of Frank." We've added lots of exciting Group Fitness classes, the equiptment is in great condition, the club is immaculately clean & the staff is happy, friendly & helpful! I look forward to meeting you all soon!

Lauren Rhyne

As of April 1, 2012 this gym is under new management. Two of the trainers have purchased the gym. No longer is any of the old difficult staff still here. The new employees are trained to provide good customer service and the plans are simple and well explained. Come meet the new manager Lauren, and check out a caring, results oriented gym. ( I know hard to believe right!)
What a poor customer experience! My wife and I had a duel membership but when I canceled over a year ago, they did not cancel my wife. We paid fees for over a year and then when we realized the issue, tried cancelling over the phone in October, 2011. Come to find out that not only did they not cancel the membership until February 2012 but added a $54 fee on top. Trying to talk logic and reason with both the 3rd party billing company and management is a waste of time as they hide behind "company policy."
Make sure you read the fine print and ask about cancel before you join this place and do yourself a favor and look around east cobb at other choices - you will be much happier if you do!
I've never experienced greater difficutly in dealing with someone who I'm paying for their service, than Frank, the manager at this location of LifeQuest fitness. I call to try and get the same deal I've got for my neighbor and I get the runaround. I try to drop one of my two family memberships and I have a renegotiate a new contract or pay a transfer fee. There's always some kind of gotcha or catch that costs me another $50. I don't understand why this guy keeps hiding behind company policy when all I want is to make simple changes; I guess the answer is that 'there's nothing in it for him to do things the easy way."
I think I know why there is never anybody in there.. it may the be rude gentleman that runs the place. He insulted me while I was touring the place and then followed up on the lead, and insulted me again when I told him why I did not join. Keep a guy like that running the place and it will be called something else real soon.
Awesome classes and lots of machines to choose from. The place is never crowded and has everything I need to get a good workout.

Run away. Lauren is gone. Return to bad business. I paid for 12 months of training for my wife and I. It included gym membership. With 4 months to go, I am told that they are no longer honoring gym membership. I can't come in gym to get my training. They keep offering to sell me another 2 years. Happy to take my money. Don't get ripped off by these guys.
