The East Cobb Senior Center is honoring veterans on Veterans Day in a celebration lasting from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.Ken Myers will lecture on his collection of memorabilia and uniforms spanning the time period from World War I to Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The event is free, but registration is required.

The Cobb Board of Commissioners will consider a proposed moratorium on reazoning applications for the continuing care retirement community category in wake of the Isakson Living request for a senior living complex.

Parents at Mountain View Elementary School have organized a town hall meeting to gather support for a reconstruction of the school.
