Brownie Troop 2052's Good Deeds

Students from Tritt Elementary School recently finished a checklist of 100 tasks to honor the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts.

In the Girl Scout Brownie Tradition, there is a story about a “brownie elf” that comes to help a household with the cooking and cleaning while the family members were sleeping.

Tritt Elementary School wanted to serve as true Brownie Elves by completing 100 Good Deeds to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Girl Scouting on Sunday.

Each troop member performed good deeds for school friends, teachers, family members, and neighbors, even strangers! The girls cleaned, assisted, complimented, swept, cooked, folded, carried, and shared their way to their goal.

They demonstrated kindness, generosity, honesty, observation, and perseverance. The troop collected these acts on paper and created a string of more than 120 Good Deeds.

As a result, each Brownie earned her 100th Anniversary Girl Scout Pin. Troop 2052 is part of the Redbud Service Unit in the Greater Atlanta Girl Scout Council.
