All summer long, East Cobb children have been learning about famous artists while trying their hand at painting.
At on Wednesday, the last Artscape session of the summer will include an art show of their work and a celebration of all that they've learned.
The finale is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is open to all ages. The Artscape program is an outdoor arts environment open to children ages 5-10.
Some of this summer’s classes are inspired by the book “Lives of the Artists” by Kathleen Krull and Kathryn Hewitt. Sessions have been devoted to the work of Mary Cassatt, Andy Warhol, Georgia O’Keefe, Henri Matisse and Henri Matisse.
