Walton Rolls over South Cobb
The Raiders easily won in the second round of the GHSA football playoffs.
As has been the case all season, the established the run early with running back Tyren Jones, who rushed for 217 yards to lead Walton past , 42-7, according to the Marietta Daily Journal.
Jones tacked on 97 receiving yards and scored five touchdowns, the first just four plays into the game.
The Raiders were never behind Friday at home and remain unbeaten on the season at 12-0. Walton will host Dacula next Friday in the quarterfinals of the GHSA AAAAA State Football Championships.
