Walton Hosts 2nd-Round Tennis Match

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in East Cobb Patch on April 26.

Both Pope and Walton are beginning their journeys towards a state title in soccer on Tuesday as the two teams host first-round playoff games.

Walton is hosting second-round action in the 5A state tennis playoffs, while Walker School will begin its region track and field championships.

Track

Walker School will participate in the Region 6-A Track and Field Championships at Darlington High School, 1 p.m.

Girls Tennis

West Forsyth at Walton, 4 p.m. (5A State Playoffs – Second Round

Boys Lacrosse

North Springs at Pope, 5 p.m. (Senior Night)

Monday’s Scoreboard

Baseball: 5, Woodstock 4

Track and Field: Pope won the Region 5-AAAA meet with a combined team score of 116.5 points.

Tennis: Wesleyan 3, Walker School 1
