Replay: Walton Holds Off Dacula

The Raiders tallied their lowest point total of the season but advance to the state semifinals against Lassiter.

(13-0) was plagued by penalties and turnovers but downed  (10-3) Friday in the quarterfinals of the Georgia High School Association's AAAAA football playoffs on Friday. We covered it live with CoverItLive and you can go back and track the conversation of a very tight contest at Raider Valley.

Tyren Jones' two first-half touchdown paced the Raiders, but it was a 95-yard touchdown pass from Parker McLeod to Zach Blaylock in the fourth quarter that gave Walton its winning margin.

The win sets up another East Cobb backyard battle in the semifinals, as Walton plays host to Lassiter, which upset previously undefeated M.L. King 24-14.
