Lassiter, Walton, Kell Begin Playoff Quests
Lassiter's home game will also be shown live on Georgia Public Television.
The November weather is brisk, which means it's time for the high school football post-season.
Three East Cobb-area teams will be in action on Friday in the first round of the Georgia High School Association playoffs.
Two of those teams will be playing at home, including Region 5-AAAAAA champion Lassiter (7-3), which is playing host to Peachtree Ridge (7-3) in a game that will be shown live on Georgia Public Broadcasting starting at 7:30 p.m.
Also playing at home is Kell (10-0), which won Region 7-AAAAA. The Longhorns will be facing Cobb rival Allatoona (7-3), also starting at 7:30 p.m.
Walton (6-4) faces a daunting challenge at Collins Hills (9-1) in another 7:30 p.m. kickoff.
