3 Teams Play Semifinal Matches on Tuesday

Here's what's happening in high school athletics in East Cobb Patch on May 10.

As it gets closer to the end of the school year, sporting events become more important with each passing day. Schools from East Cobb Patch will participate in three games today that are of the utmost importance; state semifinal appearances.

will host Harrison in the GHSA 5A Girls State Soccer Tournament, the Lady Raiders will travel to Milton in the GHSA 5A Girls State Lacrosse Tournament, and will host Lovett in the GHSA 1A-4A Boys State Lacrosse Tournament.

All three of these teams will be fighting for spots in the championship game of their respective events.

Walton has announced a red-out for tonight. All Lady Raider fans are asked to wear Raider red. People wearing red who buy a drink and food item at the concession stand will get a free T-shirt while supplies last.

Harrison at Walton, 7:30 p.m. (5A State Playoffs – Semifinals)

Girls Lacrosse

Walton at Milton, 7 p.m. (5A State Playoffs – Semifinals)

Boys Lacrosse

Lovett at Pope,  7:30 p.m. (1A-4A State Playoffs – Semifinals)
