Wheeler Students Sweep Georgia 'Brain Bee'

The magnet school students won the competition last weekend at Emory University.

Anirudh Udutha and Sara Dada, students at the Wheeler High School Center for Advanced Studies in Science, Mathematics, and Technology, excelled at the Georgia Regional Brain Bee held at Emory University Jan. 26.

The Wheeler magnet school students took the top two spots in the competition, which was conducted by the Atlanta Chapter of the Society for Neuroscience. Anirudh Udutha will move on represent the state of Georgia in the USA National Brain Bee Championship at the University of Maryland in March.

Udutha also serves as the Cobb Alcohol Task Force Youth Council Co-Chair and has served on the council’s leadership team for two years.
