Wheeler Construction Continues Into February

The staff parking lot and new bus port will not be ready by the start of the second semester in early January.

The last part of the current reconstruction of Wheeler High School is going to take just a bit longer, according to an announcement released by the school administration:

Wheeler’s staff parking lot and bus port will not be completed by the start of second semester. We are hoping for a completion date sometime in February. As a result, we will continue to use East Cobb Middle School for staff parking and the point for drop-off/pick-up at the start of next semester in January and until further notice.

Wildcat Wednesdays will also be postponed until our campus is complete. The logistics of Wildcat Wednesdays, which include early dismissal, would be difficult due to our limited student parking and pick up areas. We will follow up with everyone after Winter Break and include the new car and bus pick-up/drop-off procedures.
