Walton Robotics Earns Top Honors

The chairman's award went to the East Cobb team at last weekend's regional competition in Gwinnett.

This past Saturday (March 16) the Walton High School Robotics Team won the Chariman's Award, the highest award FIRST Robotics awards at a regional competition, at the Peachtree Regional at the Gwinett Civic Center.

In addition, the student Executive Director of the team, Walton student Alyx Falis (a senior) was named a Dean's List Finalist and will be will be competing for the national Dean's List Award at the world championships in St. Louis from April 23-26. The entire team will also be competing for the national Chariman's award as part of winning the regional award.
