Walton Drama Presents 'Anything Goes'

The Broadway hit makes its East Cobb debut tonight and continues through Saturday.

Walton Drama proudly presents the classic Broadway hit Anything Goes beginning tonight at 7pm.

Shows continue this weekend at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are available at www.waltondrama.com for $10 general admission or $15 reserved. 

This classic of musical theater features tap dancers, campy jokes, unlikely happy endings and the music of Cole Porter, including the unforgettable songs Anything Goes, You're the Top and I Get a Kick Out of You.

The story revolves around the madcap antics aboard an ocean liner bound from New York to London. Billy Crocker is a stowaway in love with heiress Hope Harcourt, who is engaged to Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Nightclub singer Reno Sweeney and Public Enemy #13 Moonface Martin aid billy in his quest to win Hope. 

Since its Broadway debut in 1934, Anything Goes has been revived many times. The most recent revival, currently on Broadway, received several 2011 Tony Awards.
