Walton A Cappella Chorus Honored
The advanced choir will be performing at a music educators' conference in Savannah later this month.
The Walton High School chorus program has received another significant distinction.
The A Cappella chorus has been chosen as just one of six college, high school, middle school and community choirs to perform at the Georgia Music Educators Association conference in Savannah on Jan. 26.
As part of their preparations, A Cappella will be performing in the East Cobb community. The concert is next Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 8 p.m. at St. Catherine's Episcopal Church, 571 Holt Road.
