Region Tournaments on Tap Wednesday

It’s an incredibly busy day around East Cobb Patch with all four teams in action across multiple sports. Tennis and golf take center stage as teams are playing in region tournaments to settle seeding for the state playoffs or to declare a champion.

It’s an all-day calendar on Wednesday as some events begin at 9 a.m.

Here's the rest of the high school sports schedule for Wednesday:

Baseball

Cherokee at , 5:55 p.m.

at Marietta, 5:55 p.m.

Boys Soccer

Wheeler at North Cobb, 7:30 p.m.

Girls Golf

Walton vs. Woodstock at Indian Hills Country Club, 3:45 p.m.

Walker will participate in the Region 6-A Golf Tournament at Lion Golf Club, 9 a.m.          

Boys Golf

Wheeler vs. Etowah at Indian Hills Country Club, 4 p.m.

Walker will participate in the Region 6-A Golf Tournament at Lion Golf Club, 9 a.m.

Girls Tennis

Walton will compete for the Region 5-AAAAA championship at Marietta High School, 4:15 p.m.

Pope will compete for the Region 5-AAAA championship at Laurel Park, 9 a.m.

Boys Tennis

Walton will compete for the Region 5-AAAAA championship at Marietta High School, 4:15 p.m.

Wheeler vs. Lassiter in a region seeding match at Marietta High School, 5:30 p.m.

vs. Sprayberry for the 5-AAAA championship at Laurel Park, 11:30 a.m.

Girls Lacrosse

Centennial at Walton, 5:55 p.m.

Boys Lacrosse

Lassiter at Pope, 7:45 p.m.
