The unidentified student was airlifted from the Pope-East Paulding football game Friday after collapsing.
A Pope band student was airlifted from the Pope-East Paulding football game Friday and remained hospitalized Monday, according to The Marietta Daily Journal.
The report quoted band director Gary Gribble as saying the unidentified male student had a heart condition.
The student was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston. After play resumed, visiting 29-21.
