Mt. Bethel Elementary School principal Joan Johnson is on the move.
She has been appointed the principal at Nicholson Elementary School in Northeast Cobb.
The Cobb Board of Education, which took formal action last month, is expected to name Johnson's successor at Mt. Bethel later this month.
The Cobb County School District's 2013-14 academic year begins Aug. 7.
