Dr. Hilda Wilkins has been recognized for her support of physical education activities at the East Cobb middle school.
principal Dr. Hilda Wilkins has been honored by the Georgia Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance as the organization's Advocate of the Year.
The award is designed to recognize and reward school administrators or community leaders who promote, support and advocate for health, physical recreation and/or dance programs in school settings.
Wilkins will officially receive her honor at the GAHPERD convention later this month at the Marietta Hilton Convention Center.
