Fruit Trees for the Home and Community Orchard

Robby Astrove of Concrete Jungle will discuss starting an orchard at home, community gardens, schools, and other public spaces. Timed for the end of the planting season, Robby will share about suitable species for the urban environment and where to get them before the season ends, planting technique, and winter pruning. This is a hands-on class and you will get to plant fruit trees at the Oakhurst Garden. Bring a flash light or head lamp.
