Eastvalley Chorus Gets Anthem Invitation

Students from the East Cobb school recently sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at a Kennesaw State basketball game.

The Eastvalley Elementary School chorus took its collective voice on the road last week -- well, just a short distance up Interstate 75.

The chorus, which included students from Still Elementary in west Cobb was invited to sing the national anthem at Saturday's Kennesaw State basketball game.

It was part of Eastvalley Elementary Day at KSU, and here's a video of the performance a parent recorded and posted on YouTube.

Given what we hear at the Super Bowl and other sporting events involving big-time celebrities, this one is refreshingly simple, clear and harmonious, isn't it?
