East Cobb School Orientation Time

A full week of meet-and-greets and sneak-a-peeks is underway.

For parents and students at Pope High School, you're already experiencing "Fall Madness"  that's underway all day today, starting with the freshmen first thing and winding up this afternoon with the Class of 2012.

Also today, "Junior Wildcat Daze" at East Cobb Middle School is scheduled from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The upcoming renovation of the main school building is the primary reason the orientation is being spread out over two days, and all students will learn more details of limitations on parking and access and other inconveniences as the construction project gets underway this fall.

Parking for Wildcat Daze is at East Cobb Middle School.

-- Walton High School's orientation is all day Wednesday, with sophomores scheduled for 8 to 9 a.m., juniors 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and seniors 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. A separate ninth-grade session starts at 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

Addison's Meet and Greet is Friday the 12th from 7:30am-9am. Kindergarteners and 1st graders with their parent (no siblings) can ride the bus to the Addison Meet and Greet and then buses will leave the school at 9am. You can find out your bus route/pick up time on the Cobb County School website (the pick up time on Friday will be the same time as your pick up during school!)
