Cobb Schools Closing Early Due to Weather
After-school, evening activities canceled on Tuesday.

We're getting some reports that students are still at their schools waiting for bus transportation. We've got a call into the school district offices to get more details. Here's a message sent out by Cobb Schools shortly before 3 p.m. to parents of students at East Cobb Middle School. We've also heard that students at Wheeler High School are waiting for bus transportation:
"Most school buses are experiencing extreme delays. Please be patient. Middle school parents who are able to pick up students from middle school, please do so as you can. Otherwise, buses will bring home middle school students as they are able."

All Cobb County Schools will dismiss two hours early today [Tuesday, Jan. 28] because of wintry weather conditions. All after-school and evening activities, including ASP, are canceled.
