DeGrossi describes his menu as "authentic Brazilian comfort food." Dining critics have agreed, with Jan Katz-Kellogg writing for East Cobb Patch that she found Botekim to standard Brazilian churrascaria fare:

"This is what it is not: a gorging experience where a green light at the table invites a never-ending selection of grilled meats on spits, sometimes served by guys in gauchos."

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's John Kessler called Botekim "a sweet surprise" in an area brimming with eateries catering to Cobb's Brazilian community.

Katz-Kellogg also commended the Cuban Diner .

Next week East Cobb readers will be asked to vote for their favorite place in the area to work out. Look for the poll first thing Monday morning at East Cobb Patch.
