Take a Hike at East Cobb Park

Children and adults are invited to Wednesday morning's "Outdoor Romping and Creek Stomping" event.

Children ages seven and older and adults are invited to the "Macro Mayhem and Sewell Mill Creek Hike" from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at .

This event is part of the "Outdoor Romping and Creek Stomping" Family Series this summer and is presented by the Natural Resource Management Unit of the Cobb Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department and the Watershed Stewardship Program of the Cobb Water Department.

Other East Cobb events in the series include:

  • "Heritage, Hiking and History" (all ages welcome), Tuesday, June 19, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Hyde Farm and visitor center, 721 Hyde Road.
  • "Explore Adventure" (all ages welcome), Tuesday, July 31, 9:30-11:30 a.m., Wright Environmental Education Center, 2661 Johnson Ferry Road.

Registration is required for Wednesday's East Cobb Park hike and costs $2 per person. Parent participation required with children, but adults without children are welcome.
