Repaving Continues on Sewell Mill Road

Here's the latest on road work going on in District 3 from Cobb Commissioner JoAnn Birrell: 

Shiloh Road/Shallowford Road Construction
The contractor is planning to work Saturday, Nov. 9, placing asphalt paving between I-75 and Wooten Lake Road depending on weather. EXPECT DELAYS.
The contractor is not planning to work Sunday, Nov. 10.

• Shiloh/Shallowford Road from Wade Green Road to Canton Road - Monday, Nov. 11 through Friday, Nov. 15. Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with one lane open while the contractor continues grading operations, guardrail work, and roadway base construction. EXPECT DELAYS

• Tanbark Place to Blackwell Road - Monday, Nov. 11 through Friday, Nov. 15. Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with one lane open while the contractor continues grading operations, placing concrete for sidewalks and drainage.

• Holt Road to Old Canton Road - Monday, Nov. 11 through Friday, Nov. 15. Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. with one lane open while the contractor continues wall construction, installing storm drainage, and water main. Utilities will be relocating services.

• Sewell Mill Road from Roswell Road to Johnson Ferry Road 

Skip Spann Connector (Busbee-Frey Connector)
This proposed project is a new bridge over I-75 that connects Frey Road to Busbee Drive just north of Chastain Road. A roundabout is proposed at the intersection of the Skip Spann Connector and Busbee Drive. 

Roswell Road (SR120) Construction - Update from GDOT
Providence Road to Robinson Road - Periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 
4 p.m. with one lane remaining open in each direction at all times. EXPECT DELAYS
