Public Info Open House for Sandy Plains RD Safety & Operational Improvements

The public is invited to attend anytime on Wednesday during the open house to review the traffic impacts for this project.

The Cobb County Department of Transportation will host a Public Information Open House for the road improvement project on Sandy Plains Road 5-7 p.m. June 18, at Mountain View Library, 3320 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta.

These improvements are a component of the 2011 Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax program. The project consists of median, access management, traffic signal upgrade and fill in the gap sidewalk work. The project limit is Kinjac Drive to Ebenezer Road. The purpose of this meeting is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the proposed project, ask questions and express their interest and concerns.

The public is invited to attend anytime during the open house to review the traffic impacts for this project. There will be no formal presentation. Information regarding the project may be found at www.cobbdot.org.
