Portion of Lower Roswell Road Closed
Cobb DOT estimates the section between Mill Run Drive and Surrey Trill to reopen around 2 p.m. Friday after damage to power poles.
The Cobb Department of Transportation has closed a section of Lower Roswell Road east of Johnson Ferry Road all Friday morning to replace utility poles damaged in an early-morning accident.
An update from the county issued at 11:45 a.m. Friday said the section of Lower Roswell bewteen Mill Run Drive and Surrey Trail is expected to be reopened around 2 p.m.
Friday's accident took place in an area of Lower Roswell Road that is in the midst of a year-long improvement plan and that has resulted in occasional traffic delays.
