Mt. Bethel Zoning on Planning Commission Agenda
The meeting takes place Tuesday morning.
Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's plans for a high school will come before the Cobb Planning Commission Tuesday.
The meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the second floor board room at 100 Cherokee Street, Marietta.
Mt. Bethel has applied for a special land use permit on 32 acres currently owned by the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta on Post Oak Tritt Road and Holly Springs Road.
MBCA wants to purchase the land and use existing buildings to create a high school in stages, with a maximum of 50 new students per grade level a year for the next four years.
School officials presented their plans at a town hall meeting held last month by Cobb Commissioner JoAnn Birrell. See the attached PDF for the Cobb Zoning Analysis.
