I-285 Weekend Repaving Continues

Three eastbound lanes between Paces Ferry Road and Ashford-Dunwoody Road will be closed from Friday evening through Monday morning.

The Georgia Department of Transportation's continuing resurfacing project on Interstate 285 between Ashford Dunwoody and Paces Ferry roads will be in full swing in the main travel lanes this weekend with three left eastbound lanes closed from 9 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.

Here is the work schedule for the weekend. With good weather, the contractors will pave according to Plan A below. If there is some poor weather, but not enough to stop all work for the weekend, the contractors will implement Plan B.

Currently, based on the forecast, it looks like they will move forward with Plan A this weekend. Keep in mind that could change based on weather conditions.
