Johnson Ferry Baptist Career Expo
Thursday's career expo, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, is being co-sponsored by the Georgia Department of Labor’s Cobb-Cherokee Career Center and Johnson Ferry Baptist Church.
The expo will feature more than 40 employers, educational institutions, and resource agencies that provide assistance to job seekers. Some employers will be hiring, while others will be discussing possible future employment opportunities with the job seekers.
Other organizations will be providing educational and other resources. Applicants should bring plenty of resumes and be prepared to fill out company applications and to interview for available job openings, including part-time, full-time, entry-level, supervisory, and management positions.

Those expected to participate in the expo include: AAA Auto Club, Advantage Staffing, AFLAC, Alorica, Allstate, Automation Personnel, Avon, Bellhaven University, Capstone Financial Partners, CarMax Auto Finance, Comcast, Durham Staffing, First Data, Focus Receivables Management, Health Staff Service, Home Depot, Labor Finders NSA Holdings, Nobis Center, Northwest Exterminating, Office Max, Panera Bread, Pawn Mart, Preferred Personnel Solutions, Pro Core Solutions, The Home Ownership Center USA, The Suzuki School, TMX Finance-Title Max, Volt Workforce Solutions, Waffle House, and House of Hawk Transportation, which is Federal Express contractors for Class A truck drivers.
