Traffic in the following areas will be affected by continuing road improvements Monday through Friday of this week, according to the office of East Cobb Commissioner Bob Ott:
- Davidson Road to Surrey Trail: Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with one lane remaining open. The contractor is performing grading, and wall construction. Various utility companies are relocating services which should not affect your service.
- Surrey Trail to Forest Brook Parkway: Also, expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Mill Run Drive and Willow Point Parkway with one lane remaining open. The contractor will perform storm drainage construction. Utilities relocation should not affect your service.
- Also this week, drivers can expect intermittent lane closures – when necessary - from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sope Creek Elementary School with one lane open. The contractor will be grading and placing concrete curbing. Utility contractors will relocate facilities which should not affect your service.
- Woodland Brook Drive remains closed to traffic in the vicinity of Brandy Station Drive. Contractor continuing excavation and utility relocations.
