East Cobb Road Work Update

Traffic will be impacted in several areas of East Cobb this week because of continuing road improvements:

• Paper Mill Road at Sope Creek Elementary School: Intermittent lane closures may take place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, with one lane open for traffic. The contractor will be grading, placing concrete sidewalk, and installing traffic signals. In addition, the contractor will begin resurfacing from Terrell Mill Road to the bridge over Sope Creek.

Traffic also will be affected in the following areas of Lower Roswell Road east of Johnson Ferry Road:

• Davidson Road to Surrey Trail: Periodic lane closures will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, with one lane remaining open. The contractor will continue grading and wall construction. Various utility companies are relocating services.
• Mill Run Drive to Riversound Drive: Periodic lane closures are expected from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday with one lane remaining open. The contractor will continue grading and storm drainage construction.
• Willow Point Parkway to Timber Ridge Road: Periodic lane closures are expected from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday. The contractor will continue clearing operations in Phase 2 and begin water work.
