East Cobb Road Work Update

Ongoing construction projects on Lower Roswell Road will resume on Tuesday; other closures this week include areas of Hyde Road and Bishop Lake Road.

The office of District 2 Cobb commissioner Bob Ott has released the following information about road projects in the East Cobb area in the coming week: 

Lower Roswell Road Construction Update

The contractor will not be working this holiday weekend, Sept. 1-3.

Davidson Road to Surrey Trail – Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with one lane remaining open for your commute. The contractor will be grading and utilities will be installing services.

Hyde Road will be closed at Lower Roswell Road from Wednesday, Sept. 5 through Friday, Sept. 7 for sewer relocation work. Advance warning signs have been posted and a detour with signage will be in place.

Willow Point Parkway to Timber Ridge Road – Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with one lane remaining open for your commute. The contractor will continue clearing operations and will begin water work. Utilities relocation should not affect your service.

Cobb County Road Resurfacing -- Asphalt paving operations, which will include lane closures with one lane remaining open at all times, are scheduled from Tuesday through Friday on Bishop Lake Road from Johnson Ferry Road to Roswell Road.
