East Cobb Road Work Update

Improvements on Lower Roswell Road and Paper Mill Road will take place on the July 4 holiday

The following road work will be in progress this week, including the July 4 holiday on Wednesday, according to District 2 Cobb Commissioner Bob Ott

  • Davidson Road to Surrey Trail: Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one lane remaining open for your commute. The contractor is performing grading and wall construction. Various utility companies are relocating services which should not affect service.
  • Mill Run Drive to Willow Point Parkway: Expect periodic lane closures from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one lane remaining open for your commute. The contractor will perform grading and storm drainage construction. Utilities relocation should not affect service.
  • Paper Mill Road at Sope Creek Elementary School: Intermittent lane closures – when necessary - will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sope Creek Elementary School, with one lane remaining open. The contractor will be grading and placing concrete curbing. Utility contractors will relocate facilities, which should not affect any services.
