Donations Sought for Senior Santa Event

Cobb Senior Services is looking for donations for its seventh annual Senior Santa on Dec. 14. This special event is an excellent opportunity for homebound senior adults in Cobb to enjoy an afternoon of holiday cheer, food, gifts and fellowship with others.

Residents can help by donating new generic items or making a $30 donation to adopt a senior for the event. Suggested items for donation include bath sets, combs, brushes, pajamas, healthy snacks, hat and glove sets, gift cards, blood pressure monitors, pens and pencils, postage stamps, stocking stuffers and large print books.

Donation drop offs are available 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, at the East Cobb Senior Center, Freeman Poole Senior Center, North Cobb Senior Center, Senior Wellness Center and West Cobb Senior Center. For more information, call 770-528-5364.
