Cobb government calendar for Thanksgiving week
Events, changes in opening hours and other items of note for the week ending on Nov. 27
-- The Cobb Board of Commissioners holds a regular work session on Tuesday, Nov. 23, starting at 1:30 p.m., followed by a business meeting and public hearing on the at 7 p.m. Both meetings take place in the BOC Room, 2nd floor, 100 Cherokee St., Marietta. (PDF agenda files are attached)
-- The Cobb County Public Library System will be closing at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, and will remain closed through Friday, Nov. 26, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. (More information)
-- The deadline for citizens to comment on a draft signage policy for Cobb County is Wednesday, Nov. 24. The policy takes into consideration historic districts and other special areas. (More information; attached draft PDF file)
