Windy Hill-Area Motel Robbed
Cobb police are saying that a lone suspect held up the Red Roof Inn near Interstate 75 early Monday morning.
Cobb Police say a motel near Interstate 75 and Windy Hill Road was robbed early Monday morning.
Cobb Police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce said an armed male suspect ordered a male employee at the Red Roof Inn, 2200 Corporate Parkway, to remove cash from a safe shortly before 6 a.m. The motel is located near WellStar Windy Hill Hospital.
The suspect left the premises on foot in an unknown direction, Pierce said.

He described the suspect as a black male, around 5-feet-6 in his late 20s to early 30s, and wearing black clothing and a bandana to cover his face.
Cobb Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to call 770-499-3945.
